This is the page where most of my bigger Projects go. I currently only have one that is just about mentionable, but either way this page exists now and I may will do more projects later.

About StudyIT

StudyIT was supposed to be an app for coaching from and for students, and while it didn't get finished all the way, the app still works in some ways. You can already create an account, log in and even make a coaching-offer, I think that our team leader was a little bit too enthusiastic about everything and therefore as soon as he lost even some interest nobody has done anything anymore, meaning that we inofficially closed the project 1 month early.

The Idea

We wanted to make an app, with which you can both give and receive coaching. It was supposed to help people find coaching because usually there is barely a chance to randomly find someone giving coaching. There are of course actual teachers advertising themselves but we wanted something where students can give lessons to students, as they mostly are on a more similar level and maybe even understand why the student is struggling.

Goals

Despite our goals mainly being to get through the school year, we actually worked quite motivated and actually respected our goals, which were:

• General better grades in our school
• better working climate
• faster finding of coaching

Sadly though, the excessive motivation of our Team Leader Max lead to way too much development in the first 2 months and absolutely none in the last one.

The app

Design decisions for the App

The app was designed for our school and our school only. Therefore we also didn't accept any email-addresses other than ones from our school-email. It should be compatible with any platform, which is why we chose Flutter, and of course as students we don't really have a monthly income so we chose firebase as our database.
